Thoughts on a particular beautiful cloudless night

The question is whether God needs mankind to really appreciate him or not? An atheist would see the flaw in the question, but that is not really the point. Idealist with ideas, believer and their believes, the faithful and their faith and so on and you would see the connection, either way the 'human' factor is a non-separable component of the whole system. It is the very reason of its existence, its raison d'etre...or not?
